Even if it had a SIM card, I still need to change the plan. The new phones require different data plans so I can take advantage of the new features.

This Treo is insured. It breaks down and I can get a replacement. If they ever run out of Treo 755ps, I get an upgrade to the next model up that is compatible with my plan.

is it lifetime insurance ?

$4 a month and is part of my $30 a month everything plan. I had it since the phone was new so they will protect me until I cancel the insurance. I have had them give me replacements and repair my phone before free of charge.
