i believe smoque starts smoking meats at 4am. if that's true then the beef brisket available for lunch is probably left over from the previous day. best time to try their brisket is after 3pm to ensure you're getting meat smoked that day.

then again, with as busy as they are maybe they start smoking earlier?

Well I went last night around 8pm and got the brisket and it was friggin amazing. Even if I go at lunch and it's leftover from the day before, I can't imagine it can be that bad. Man that stuff was so tender it just shredded on its own. Maybe I will try the ribs this time though. They looked and smelled amazing too. Hmmm....

BTW- They brought Ryan out another BBQ sauce that was thicker than the regular one they serve you. That stuff was yummy!!! I have to remember to ask for that tomorrow.

Their sauce is very good. G2G always asks for extra sauce and drenches his food in it, fries and all.

I am in for a July 26th time frame. Someone (Erwin), please go ahead and create a thread. mmmm kay. I will proceed to do the needful that day and bring my appetite.

Shall we do this for dinner or lunch? I want to make a group ride out of this as well. Perhaps somewhere out west (LITH) then head to the city for some dinner.

you should aim for late lunch maybe 2pm'ish. go for dinner and you risk having to deal with sold out items. that's worse then a cocktease...
