Dam the 101 thread you did on changing your tires is

as this is a new community and there will soon to be new members or total non gear heads,

it would be nice to see more more threads with pics like you did for the tires.

Maybe changing headlights
Oil changes
changing break and clutch levers?
some simple stuff with a little help or guidance anyone could do.


Just a thought and could be useful to some of us.
Also maybe a thread on who can do what on here? bike realted stuff ya know maybe bike painting, engine work stuff.

I do have more HowTos planned. I did do one for brake bleeding and oil change but didn't like how it turned out. Need to redo them.

At the same time though, I am not trying to reinvent the wheel or rewrite the service manual. A lot of this information is already available out there. One only need to search or ask to be pointed in the correct direction.

As for who can do what, feel free to start up a thread. As I said in the tire changing thread, I would like to focus GarageMao more on education rather than just cheap service. There will be a day when I would have to shut down GarageMao. I would like people to do as much as they can on their own.

Also, I would like to see others contribute some HowTos or assist in making them. It took me a long time to make the tire changing HowTo as I was working by myself, stopping at every step to take pics.

Just ask me for help bish, you know I ain't got a garage and know how to do all that stuff. We'll use your dirty garage.

I would do a tutorial on changing oil, but some of my steps include spilling the old oil all over the floor and burning my wrist on the exhaust.
