Wished I saw you on the track Paiky.
What group do you ride in? Hmm... I should have introduced myself to you but I had to be back in Palatine by 3. |

Some of the pics i took
Ignore my fatass face ( i really need to lose weight ) PP thanks for the advice to take the I instead of N. I know if i sign up for N it would suck for me. Im so glad today that i finish the whole session w/o incident. First trackday in 08 Ohhh i was lucky today too. I wasnt really sign up for todays track as it was full already but i figure out to try to ask the registration lady if they have openning spot and luckily they have one
End of the day.
Btw riding 100 miles on the way home sucks specially when you have only 1 hr sleep.

My first track day this year and wow I learned so much. I now have correct footing, corner speed is getting better and I managed to drag knee.
Need to work on my body positioning as I got so low I scraped the pegs and brake lever. Need to get off the bike way more. I also need to be more consistent with my race lines. So much to learn and improve upon.
Overall a very good day as I managed to finish without crashing. The DCIIIs are excellent tires for street and track use.

big shout out to mr g2g.
i got denied at tech check for no safety wiring on my oil cap and oil filter. stt never said anything to me before in all the advanced days i did last year. anywho, steve and his rolling transportable garage drilled out the cap and another hole in the engine casing and used a wiring twisting tool to safety wire the oil cap and the oil filter. big thanks to steve.
both mao and ryan had ear to ear smiles 2nd session after lunch. why? both had dragged knee. in fact, ryan was so happy he bought a spot for sunday. "i'm hooked. this is going to get expensive"
damn, it's definitely more fun at a trackday when you're hanging with friends.

Great times these last two days! Like Brian said I won the spot for Saturday from CLSB and ended up buying a spot for today. I had a great time chasing Grasshopper around yesterday. He was my control rider for the last few sessions and I was the only one in his group. I was feeling really good out there today, right up until I crashed
. Minor lowside in turn 2. Not a scratch on me, just plastic damage on the bike. At least I got my first crash out of the way as gently as possible .
