ARLINGTON HEIGHTS Tanning salon surrenders license after prostitution charges Tribune staff report 11:23 PM CDT, August 14, 2008 An Arlington Heights tanning salon has surrendered its business license after the salon's manager and five other people were arrested last month on prostitution-related charges, village officials said Thursday. Singapore Salon, 308 E. Golf Rd., in the International Plaza shopping center has been closed since July 10 when an undercover police officer was offered sex for money after getting a massage, police said. The salon's manager, Kil Sun Fara, 60, of Palatine, was charged with keeping a place of prostitution, police said. Village Manager Bill Dixon said he had suspended the salon's business license, which was forfeited before a revocation hearing Wednesday. |

Really I don't even remember a tanning salon over there but most of the stores in there are unrecognizable. |

how do you make prostitution illegal. do you need to have a petition with said number of signatures to get it on the ballot for the state to vote it in? from what i know nevada and rhode island are the only 2 states that have legal prostitution (in the form of brothel only, street soliciting is illegal).
