I can get the loan and pay it off in 45 days, or whip my discover card, and pay it off very next month.
Money are on the way.

We saw a chromed out decked out Zuk Boulevard on our ride to the planetarium tonight. I must say, it looks pretty sharp.

The VStar is awesome but the 650 is fucking pathetic in terms of power. The bare minimum you'll want to go is with the VStar 1100, that's what my roommate has and unless I'm intentionally going fast on a straightaway, he can keep pace pretty good. Probably runs a 1/4 mile in about 14.5 seconds and looks fucking sweet, like a FatBoy.

FWIW, he bought a 2006 VStar 1100 Classic with 1,200 miles on it for $6k cash last SUMMER, deals are out there if you look for them.

How long have you been riding? What kind of Ninja did you have before?

If you have some experience I'll bet my roommate would let you take his for a spin. I wouldn't go smaller than an 1100 on a cruiser. His weighs 600lbs and has about 60 horsepower, not exactly a rocketship. I don't want to know what the power to weight ratio of a 650 would be.

I started in 2004 on Ninja 250, and year later got my self ZX6r.
I did drove R6's, CBRs, 04 600 Shadow, Yamaha 500.
I know the motto - everybody drives their own ride.
To be honest I don't know how i would handle a bigger bike than 600.
I will go to the dealer, no biggy, I have to check it out what I really like.
Thx

You're missing something here, displacement doesn't equal speed. The VStar 1100 is going to be a turtle compared to an R6, it's going to be a dog even compared to ancient CBRs and ZX6rs. The 1100 puts out about 60hp to the crank, maybe 42 to the wheel as it's a shaft drive. The R6 puts out about 95-105hp to the crank and about 85-95 to the rear wheel, and it weighs 200lbs less. You'll do fine on an 1100cc cruiser.

I went to Kawi/Yami dealer today and looked at Vulcan & VStar.
Hly shit those bikes are huge. On the photos they kid of big, but
when you stand next to them they fucking huge.
I like Kawi better than VStar. I found one on cycletrader
same dealer in Ohio, they want 6499$, but who know how money hidden
costs is not added to it? They claim in the ad there is none but I have to
call to find out.

It's your bike so do what makes you happy but do yourself a favor and ride a 900-1300cc cruiser before you purchase a babycruiser. You'll be bored out of your mind within 2 weeks time.

Another thing to consider is the fact that the smaller engined bikes don't handle speeds above 60 very well compared to the big boys so be ready for a lot of vibration and a bad time at 75 mph.

Yes - speed, that the factor I love the most.
I will listen to you guys and will try to ride some of those bigger bikes before I make any
serious decision. I still love that Warrior the most.

My buddy has an 08 M109R and that thing is bad ass. 1800 cc i think its at 124 horsepower, and handles pretty dam well. Comes with solo and passenger seat. I would recommend riding one before making a decision. I wasnt to fond of the bike just sitting on it, but after riding it, I would have not problem buying one of these. He just traded it in on wed for the C109RT and took it back after 10 miles to get his M109R back. The C109rt is a crusier and has the same motor as the M109r but he just loves his M109R that much.
