Yeah it was, I did toe-side all the way down and picked up a ton of speed...then kinda froze and fell. All I had to do was turn and do heelside, but whatever, I'll remember that for next time.

Here was my problem coming into this season, I could do really basic turn linking heel side to toe side and toe side to heel side.... I was catching an edge every once and awhile going from heel to toe turn transition. I finally figured out my problem. When doing these turn transitions I was not bending my knees enough AND I was also leaning on my back foot (I was told nebar to do that). Place pressure on your front foot and let your back foot guide your turns. I did that the last time out and now my turns are more seamless

ChiefBD is in as long as there is no slush fest like last week there . Even then I can just practice rails all day , but that normally means days of pain afterwards .

I might be down for this one fish! I got the truck so I have some extra space at least 3 of us comfortably maybe 4 or 5 if someone has a ski or snowboard rack that will fit.
