If I blow a .03 or lower at work, it is considered such a small amount, it is not considered a failure. Mouthwash, ect can cause a bac of low levels.

IMHO, the world would be a better place if they brought back street legal 500cc 2 strokes. Hell yeah!!!

side question, in places where its legal does anyone know if the companies drug screen you and you're disqualified for having it in your system? i mean if its legal that shouldnt matter.

in holland, the vast majority of companies do not drug test. if they did test, half the citizens would not be eligible for employment.

Plenty of research available out there that proves this should be legalized. I participated in a debate in 8th grade and was on the team for legalization. We debated in front of a board of teachers and the principal was there as well. Legalization won, by a long shot.

Think about why it was made illegal in the early 1900s. What was going on at the time? The industrial revolution began in the late 1700s with advancements in several different industries, but the one I am looking at is transportation. For hundreds of years, hemp was used to make rope and other valuable items. I have no idea how many plants it would take to harvest enough rope for one little ship like say the Mayflower, but I would imagine it was a couple of acres.

This pollution revolution that changed the way the world works had a profound effect on hemp. It was no longer needed because they had other synthetic materials that were cheaper and faster than growing hemp. Think about it.

That's like the time I got busted for ecstacy in high school and I told the judicial committee that I gave it back to the dealer, who was in custody and not able to speak to anyone so they could confirm. lulz.

I know that there are many businesses that do drug screenings for insurance premium discounts and or eligibility requirements.

It is not as cut and dry as you make it. The situation is complicated to say the least with economic and social ramifications. So in a word No.

It is very simple, legalize it already. To me, there is no difference socially or economically between weed or alcohol. The logic EPIC FAILS why one is legal and the other is not. People hypothesizing that things will get crazy and it will be the end of the world if we do it are the same folks that are afraid that legalizing handguns will turn America into the wild west. As we have seen from areas where weed is legal and the carrying of firearms is legal, neither worst case scenario has happened. Therefore, it is logical to assume business will carry on as usual, and even better, crime will decrease in both instances from the legalization of these things .
