The cops have actually cracked down a little bit lately. Not hard, mind you, but not like it used to be when I was drunk at the age of 18 and they just tell me to be careful not to step in the horseshit in the middle of Western They're a little bit harder about the alcohol you bring in (so no coolers), and you don't want to get caught pissing on the side of a building (like $125 fine).

The thing the cops really care about the most is fights. Don't get in one and you should have a fun time.

the cops only care if youre not a cop. if youre a citizen then you get a dui. if youre a fellow cop, they help drive you to your car that you cant find because you cant remember and when you stumble around drunk and cant get in they help you into your car and let you drive off on the sidewalk (true story).

Well yeah, but I was talking about AT the parade, not after. After is kind of a given, since people will be driving all over the place. And cops look out for their own, even though it's not always right, it's what they call "professional courtesy." I call it breaking the law

I want to go to Jeffs house, meet his Mom, steal the soap, and leave an upper decker.

I've heard of people getting shit for having cans in the open last year. Bring some Solo cups just in case.

Just a heads up - this Saturday there's a parade in Forest Park which is supposed to be one of the biggest in the burbs. Runs down Madison street if anyone's interested. Starts at 1pm, I'm planning on being there.
