I don't think you had a dirtbike then otherwise you would've totally been invited. Since Buffalo is no more, there's plenty of others that are much bigger and more challenging and more fun than FVOR. I'll let you see me fall and break bones again.

my toe nail hasn't even fully grown back yet. It's sensitive. My chest hurts quite a bit when I warm up with 350lbs.

I can't believe you talk about your wife like that. She should leave you.

Waterman apparently offers classes. I called about them but they weren't really doing super basic stuff, they were on to more advanced work. I'd still like to try a class.

Instead they let me ride my RM125 with the little kids on 65-85s and I still got spanked by children 1/4 my age.

The MX track at FVOR is super laid back and easy to ride. Just roll over everything and get the basics down. There are sites out there that explain some basic technique, but again, I'd still really like to take a class.

I panic when the wheels leave the ground, but MX to me is still easier than riding some of the trails... especially in the mud after it's been raining, and it's fall, and everything is covered in wet slippery leaves. Argh.

I did a class at Waterman and the guy adjusted it to my skill set. (none) A good time to go to Waterman is when the weather is nice because everyone is outside and you get the place to yourself. Trails freak the hell out of me because that single track gets way to narrow for my liking.

Go to KI Tracks. Its the safest MX track around. All table top jumps and big berms on all the turns.
