Maybe not excellent to all tastes, but what I think she meant was I can pick the appropriate song to compliment the post.

Since we mentioned boozing Irish poets here is a song about one sung by another.

yup. that's exactly what i was getting at. every time you've referenced a band on CLSB, i was always struck by our similar taste in music.

(but i do like the pogues, too).
