Silly CP, all these tires get shipped in and someone has to mount them. You're local and will probably get a decent amount of tire mounts to come in. While tire mounting isn't the most profitable of services it brings a customer in to your shop where you can work your Jew magic to coax them in to buying additional parts that they think they need for their bike. This is a win-win situation for you!

I wouldn't call it a win win as he loses his ability to double dip. Before he can make a small profit on the tires and the labor. that is gone now. maybe it will drum in more business?

Who's to say it's not bringing in new business he would've never seen to begin with if it weren't for someone elses tire sales? Jew gets tire, Jew needs tire put on, asks other Jews where to get tire put on, Jew discovers Jew sorcerer - CP to install said tires. Jew magic happens and he now has a customer that he otherwise would never have had as a loyal customer.

I don't doubt the new business angle at all. But the Jew needs tires no matter what. Before the Jew would just get them at CP. One stop shop, tires and install. CP makes money on both ends. Now CP is cut out of the initial sale.

I can see more business if say the lower tire prices encourages people to ride more often and new riders. New riders need their tires mounted and goes to CP. Then it's more business. Otherwise it's business he already had except he loses the sale on the tires.

If only that were the case. Once a cheapass, always a cheapass, and people like that will never allow you to make a profit on anything you do, and if you do, they are pissed off anyways and then badmouth you on how you ripped them off. If you cultivate a client base full of cheapskates that is what you will be left with. I look for fair minded people willing to pay a fair price for quality service. I don't want to get people like that "in the door" at all. I like them to go elsewhere so my competitors will be very busy turning dollars and wasting time helping these tools while I can profit. After they go under they will be forced to come to me anyways. I will remember that and then fuck them even harder in the drive through.

So true. Even at my rock bottom prices, some people want even more of a discount. It's a good thing I do this as a hobby and not to make a living.

I send customers to CP all the time. When they say my prices are too high, I tell them to go to CP. Somehow they rarely ever make it there.

All kidding aside and even though I'm a tightwad, I can concur that CP does good work although not always in a timely fashion. Then again I don't know of a dealership that ever delivers as promised on time.

He does pay attention to detail such as not plastering his propaganda all over my bike like he usually does knowing I hate that shit.
