I just got back now, 760 miles from my door and back, I can barely bend my legs . It was so worth it, not one incident the entire trip for any group . This had to have been the only flawless F4T in history. Very little rain, we got a little wet leaving Starks yesterday, and it stayed clear until we got near Chicago today, I never got soaked, so it was a good time . The roads were awesome, the fears of the roads being destroyed due to flooding were . We only saw one real bad town that was still somewhat flooded in WI on the way back, everything else looked normal.

The riding on this year's trip rocked! We had 9 in our group. Me, Cheyenne, Grasshopper, ChiefBD, Bug, JaysunOne, Charger, Biggy and Troy. We had a blast. The weather was perfect until late Sunday afternoon, but we completed the route Sunday until Janesville. I managed to get within 30 minutes of home before getting poured on. I didn't care because we had such good weather and such good roads. Our group was running a pretty hot pace, but with enough in reserve. We avoided a talk with Johnny Law 3 or 4 times (with luck) and we didn't loose anyone and most importantly no one crashed! Thanks to Troy for his help with the route in IA and thanks for Charger for his help with the route in WI. After my 3rd F4T I have a much better understanding of the route. I am going to incorporate Troy's choices in IA and my choice of 95 in MN.
So much for toning it down a bit between the last 2 gas stops, eh Chief?
