SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - If you're looking for something to do this July Fourth, why not get out of the heat and hit the slopes?

Ssnowbird Ski Resort announced they will be open on Independence Day for skiing.

And Snowbasin Ski Resort will be celebrating with a rail jam which will take place on July third.

Outside of this event, Snowbasin is closed for summer skiing.
