Paiikypoo....sorry to hear you have had problems with Nesba in the past....sounds like you just ended up with the wrong CR....no question they make you work for your bumps but there is no question that it has made me a better rider too.

working is fine but being condescended to sucks. i don't hold animosity to nesba as an org, just some of their representatives are not out there to help ppl. seems like they are out there to prove they're better then others.

It definitely seems like you ended up with the wrong CR as most of the time I have found the NESBA cr's to be very friendly and helpful but there are always bad apples everywhere.

I've had one......dude tells me I need to plant my feet differently on my pegs.....he basically wanted me to come a little off the balls of my feet so that I would be more on the arch of my foot !?!?!?!?!

I told him I wasn't comfortable doing that and I would have more of a tendancy to drag my toes and he said "fine, do it your way, do it the wrong way", and he came up to ME suggesting this.

Unfortunately not all the NESBA CRs use the exact same methods to both critique AND teach. Some are proactive and supportive and some can come across as condescending. My suggestion would be to go out there and ride at your Advanced pace within the B group rules and you'll find that the CRs will find you immediately and bump you up. Or you could talk to a CR in the morning and ask for an evaluation. I can point you to the guys that helped me if you want.

On the other end, Kim and I have had poor experiences with STT coaches as well. A friend and I were both being evaluated for Advanced. I wasn't as ready as my friend which was fine, but the coach pretty much ignored me and did not offer any criticism at all. That's when I decided to earn my NESBA Advanced bump before going out in advanced with STT.

Kim was told by a STT coach that she hangs off the bike too much. After she has been praised by numerous CRs and fellow STT/NESBA riders about what good form she has. He suggested that she not hang off as much and work on faster corner entry and exit. Sounds counterintuitive to me.
