Question, how would you guys mount or carry an Ipod on a full leather suit. My suit doesn't have any pockets. I am thinking of taking it to the F4T or a track day and I want to listen to my music, but I don't have a way to hold it in place. Any suggestions?

Arm band on the thigh works great. And don't worry about wadding up the bike and destroying your Ipod. By the time you get up, the Ipod will be the last thing on your mind.

Do you use a tankbag? I put mine in the top map pocket, then you can kinda sloppily operate the keys through it too. Just don't forget to unplug it when you get off the bike. Ripping the earplugs out of your ears as you walk away from your bike sucks.

There's some really technic riding on the f4t. It's not a good idea to be jamming to the tunes whiles going through the twistys. That's just me.

I know man, but I am so used to listening to my tunes everywhere on the bike. I have been riding and using the mp3 player since 03.

Yes I know, but it has become a part of me now. I have been listening to music and riding since 02, so it would be darn tough to stop now.

Yeah me too, no music no fun.
I recently got a wired remote for my Ipod,
so I don't have to take him out to change a song, or increase & lower the volume.
It was like 3$ of the e-bay.

I'm all for riding with the ipod on trips....do it all the time, even in serious twisties. I have an inside pocket in my jacket that I keep it in and I use a wireless remote that I either keep in my tank bag or velcro to my tank.

As far as on the track...no music...only earplugs. You will damage your ears with music, track noise and wind noise.

Just my 2 cents

I'd go with integrated helmet speakers and use a Ram mount. You can run cables under the tank or in a tank bag to your helmet.

I use some cheap Sony ear hook earbuds now. For this F4T trip I used my textile jacket and pants, so there was no need to wrap the Ipod around my arm because the jacket had pockets.
