Last I played there, they use a queue system, where you hang your racket on a pegboard (like putting a quarter on a pool table). Seemed to work well, and a decent place to hang out if you have to wait-- lots of pretty people going by ;).

Seems the greater issue is location.. tbd.

I am telling you guys, south side LSD FTW. Play till we get tired and leave, no queue, cause no one uses the courts . It is the summer time, so we don't have to worry about Mt. Carmel's tennis team playing on the courts. Also, plenty of parking across the street from the courts

i have no problem with any location I don't mind driving.

i'm down for that. the south side catches a lot of shit, but their parks, beaches, and roads are usually less crowded than the north side (and in some cases are in better condition).

If we were on the B ball courts, I would say wear your kevlar vest and pack heat , but on the tennis courts everything will be fine.

+1. 31st st park/beach is a great place to hang out.. beautiful views of the city. Plus, if you're lucky, you can catch a photo/video shoots with real live video ho's. (and I use that term in the best possible context)

i'll just throw this out there now in case anyone is interested in a post-tennis movie:

"mother of tears" is playing at the music box this week and i'd really like to see it while its still there. its a horror flick by dario argento ("susperia"). i'm thinking a couple hours of tennis, followed by the movie @ 9:40pm. if anyone would care to join me afterwards for a little blood and gore, that would be lovely.

haha. have you ever been to washington park? i've cruised by there on the bike on the weekends and it was off the hook. crazy-ass cars, crazy-ass bikes, and *lots* of hoochie mamas. it really was like riding through a rap video.

judging by the rating, i'm assuming yes:
