Yes they have, the problem is the goverment hasn't served most of the people for a while now. Less and less privelages, more laws, taxes, and fees, while our jobs constantly get outsourced to other countries. The goverment doesn't even care about its troops it sends to fight its wars, they can't even spend 3 billion a year to take care of veterans that have been hurt and faught in Iraq, but can spend 2 billion a week to keep them there. The majority of us are getting the shaft. They have already limited my mileage and energy needs by sheer cost of these products today. I don't even want to do a track day with a 12 mile/gallon Sierra unless I am sharing the gas with another rider. I can't feel optimistic about the people actually changing this when they are watching shows like TMZ and American Idol in record numbers, and ripping a person for not wearing a flag pen . So as I said, I am trying to survive, when everyone else is truely ready for change, I will be right there with them
i think the problem is outsourcing and the job market in general is,... america isnt that much of a labor country like it used to be. fuck, we import everything made from china, japan, taiwan. America is a country of service, thats what we offer... we offer services and consulting alike. And those jobs can easily be outsourced. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. You have to find a niche in this country, you have to provide something that people want and need and will come to you to get. People need tire changes, mao provides that. You aren't sending your tires out to a 3rd world country and having them shipped back. But phones can be answered by any asshole that can speak the language (even if for a little bit) Nobody wants the shit jobs anymore. We are a generation that was raised that if we go to school we can be whatever we want, start jobs making 45k a year and have our own little piece of the american dream. No one wants to start out at mcdonalds, everyone thinks flipping burgers is above them, that this is america and i can be something better. and thats just now how it is these days.

its our falt. we need to take responsibility for being cheap fags by not buying something made in the U.S.A. cause its a dollar more.

There is nothing wrong with people liking and having many options. We as Americans need to discover more common ground instead of constantly exploiting the differences between us. We all need to be able to take in a variety of information and come up with a logical decision and compromise.

But it's our freedom to do so. If we can't buy cheap goods, soon there will be price gouging. The world would end! Oh nawss!!!!

Like I said, freedom comes with responsibility. You want freedom, how about showing some responsibility.

fight club has it right, we work jobs we hate to buy shit we dont need.

wearing certain clothes, buying certain colognes, having certain possessions so we can score a little bit of pussy. people can scrape by life pretty contently and live comfortable in their means but everyone wants something bigger and better. instead of what we need, we look at what we want. everyone in the country is walking around with a giant raging viagra induced hardon knocking over shit on the tables. and no ones picking up after themselves while the rest of us walk on glass.

I support the smoking ban, so therefore I support every other ban out there. There is no other way around it. Soon I will ban everything that is dangerous or causes me discomfort. Yeah it sounded pretty stupid when you said it also.

You're looking at it from the point of view of a loser though. Pessimism is a sin in my book. Sure, I can probably get by and support myself making 10 bucks an hour. But why? Whether it be material things, women, feeding your family, buying that bigger house, humans aspire for MORE (sorry stole that from you Ray). It's human nature to want MORE. It's called motivation.

Sometimes it's ok to want and appreciate the finer things in life. Maintain the balance my friend.

theres nothing wrong with wanting more. but dont get MORE than are within your means of survival. thats why all those dipshits that bought into ARM's are out on their fat greedy asses. If you want more, be motivated and go earn more. Don't try to fit everything on your small ass plate cause stuff will fall off. Doesn't take a genius to take a breath look down and realize you need a bigger plate, or finish what you have and go get some more.

To deny yourself is to deny your humanity. Everyone likes nice things. Everyone likes some luxury. It's when people by shit they can't afford, that's when we start seeing problems. The American household has decreased in size in the last 100 years but guess what, the average house has doubled and tripled in size. People have been tricked into thinking they need McMansions in Bufooland driving giant SUVs. Then the have the nerve to bitch about energy prices. Get real!

When I rule the world, everyone would be forced to live in pods like The Matrix.

But your ban infringes upon my freedom to smoke . Nonsmokers can compromise just like smokers can. Can you give me a specific place where I can smoke? No, screw them all and ban it all . That is not fair, and there was no compromise.

Motivation borderline Greed. Some companies say they have a bad quarter when they don't beat a profitable quarter from a previous year.

Good stuff.

I'm content with everything i have. Coming from a 3rd world country, i didn't have shit to begin with, and look at me now. To some, i don't have shit, but to me, i have a lot more than what i started with, and i'm fine with that. I can doe tomorrow and not have 1 single regret on how i lived my life. Tis true.

he puts his hand over his heart during the pledge, all the pictures and videos are from him not having it over during the national anthem. even if it were true, its just a mannerism. whenever im somewhere that an announcer asks "please bow your heads for a moment of silence" i dont, and its not because im being disrespectful, thats just the way i am, it doesnt make a difference to me if i bow my head and close my eyes or keep straight up with my eyes open.

Yes, I agree, that's why you have to maintain the balance. Motivation can turn into greed. But that is also a natural human instinct.

but your smoking is compromising my ability to breathe. you can't have indoor smoking sections, that didnt work, as carlin says an indoor smoking section is like having a peeing section in a pool.
