Operation paintball is the worst field to play in and they charge an arm & leg for the paintballs. Another bad thing is you have to use only their paintballs. Check out Badlandz in Crete, IL. The fields there are way better and you can bring your own paint, grill in the parking lot, have a few beers. I havent been paintballing since last yr. Too bad this is this weekend, I already got plans. I'll be down for the next paintball outting fo sho.

Field paint is always going to be more expensive. I'm sure people will be splitting cases of paint among each other to save a little. For the price of rental and field use $5.00 is cheap.

If you want to talk expensive Challenge Park is notorious for their mark up on paint. I believe they get their cases of "premium" for about $15.00 bucks and sell it for about $90.00

I don't want to hear about it being the worst field to play at. Badlandz is a good place to play 'played their many times'. Cpx isn't bad. The fields are alot better and you can't beat the town of bedlam.

What brand paint does operaton paintball use as field paint?

$90 for non-members, $80 with membership. They do use quality paint 'marballizer paintballs'. A bunch of us go out to an old winery near badlandz to pb, we just fill up our bottles at badlandz before going to the winery. Good and really cheap, but everyone has to have their own gear.
