typically, orgs start to charge more the closer to track date you get. generally, 2 weeks out + is the cheapest.

Just signed up for sat/novice...weather looks to be good and they didn't charge me the extra $15-$25 for late signup!
If anyone else was thinkin of goin....DO IT!
