He does pay attention to detail such as not plastering his propaganda all over my bike like he usually does knowing I hate that shit.
He's a good guy. I'll even agree with most of that, except I never promise a certain time. I always leave it vague in case shit comes up. When somebody comes in and drops a few grand on the counter and wants stuff done quick, and will do more if it's done quick, then I do it. The good guy buddy jobs get shelved for a few days. Most people these days have an immediate gratification complex and don't understand why it takes so long to do something and can't be ready the same day. All I have to do is walk them to the back and tell them they can either be behind the 20 other bikes in here, or I can get it done in a few days ahead of them. They are happy to let me work at my pace then. It is so funny that the posters that say "Price, quality, or speed, you can have any two" really are exactly correct.

When I want my tires swapped out, I need to do it then and now. I once did it at 2am just because I felt like it.

Mao has changed my tires pretty much at my convenience every single time. He even lets me ship my shit to his place AND let's me store my cheap internet tires for a while. One time he even set up a group buy that resulted in the best deal on DCIIIs at the time.

I want to buy a set of these tires at this great price but I'd just sit on them for a year or more. |

You gotta hook that thing up and get it running so I can unload it. When I get back we'll have to set something up for sure. I want that thing gone! |
