I have a feeling they will be making an example out of anyone caught boozing in the street so as to stop any fun before it gets out of hand. The few who bitch about the parade are the squeaky wheels who will get the grease. There will be extra cops out there I'm sure. This is all just my guess though, for all I know it could turn into a free for all.

The best plan is to bring a back pack and fill it with huge zip lock bags with ice and beer. That way you can pull out a beer at anytime and not have to pay $5 a beer. everytime you stop somewhere to BS and drink you can take the back pack off and set it next to you. The convience and ease of having your own beer ice cold when you want it priceless. I did this for other bashes and also the Moto GP at Indy.

I talked to one of my friends who is CPD and he said the cops will be there and will not be busting people balls as long as they act like adults.
