know what my favorite part of this whole debacle is? people will dismiss android because it doesnt have 100,000 useless fart apps or because a big powerful phone like the evo has short battery. yet theyll buy a phone that doesnt even work as a phone on a network that it couldnt make phone calls on when it DID work as a phone for years. and happily drop $500 every year for the new model. all while making excuses to own it. "ohhh other phones lose reception if you hold em a certain way, ohhh its a software issue theyll fix it.

I've heard they are going to send everyone a free bumper. Personally if they wanted to improve their image greatly and get it back to where it was when they were the little guy they should do a full on recall. it'll cost them 1.5 billion but it'll make them a lot of money in the long run.
