Well my phone locked up on me over lunch and I had to hard reset it to get it working again. All of my contacts were erased so need phone numbers. Shoot me a PM or send me a text (with your name) if you already have my number.

Thanks!

I don't want to have them all on my work computer for privacy reasons, but I don't have outlook running or even set up on my home machine. I actually thought about backing up my contacts like 2 days ago but forgot by the time I got home

No sim card that I know of. It's a treo 700w. It has an SD card but I don't think it backs the contacts up to the card.

My 600 and 650 had SIMs. Check the top, by the antenna. There should be a little slit you can pull out.

on top there's the SD card slot, the IR receiver, the ringer switch and the stylus. Don't see anything else.

Whenever you DO set up your stuff again, go Google and download a copy of PIM BACKUP. It's a free, Windows Mobile backup app that'll save that stuff to your SD card.

Just searched - doesn't use a SIM. You are SOL.

The Treos can be setup to backup everything to SD card and sync to PC. I have my Palm based Treo to backup to my SD card everyday at 4am, in addition it syncs to my PC when I hot sync it. And throughout the day it syncs with my work's Exchange server. I am safe if my phone is lost, stolen or blows up.

I'll have to check this out in addition to the program Andy suggested. Backup to the SD card would be the biggest feature, but I don't really ever sync with my computer since I've moved out here to Chicago. My currently employer doesn't have an exchange server that can be accessed outside of the building so backing up that way is impossible unless I just plug it in whenever I'm at my desk.

If by IT department you mean the one guy who knows how to create passwords for new employees and setup outlook, he can't do much of anything. I think it's due to old equipment and the owner not wanting to upgrade the servers or something. He also thinks that everyone and their dog are out to steal our designs so doesn't want any possibility of outside access.

Ah yes, the joys of working for a small shop.

Tell them it will be secure and increase productivity. I am available to do upgrades for a mere $92.50 per hour.
