I had a Jewish roommate in college. Smart kid, but he had an issue with race, he was flagged in high school for this and was put through a program and counselling, he had/has a serious issue with it. Anyway, he always talked about how the holocaust never happened on the scale that the history books speak about. What do you think? Did the holocaust happen?

I don't know, but at my old office, they built a new holocaust museum, and i swear to f'n g*d, it looks like a big giant brick oven. No lie. This building can be seen when going south on 94 (passing Golf rd) or when going east on Golf rd, near Central/Harms.

Travel the world, see the sights, see what was built, see the graves, only then will you realize what a stupid question that is. Go see it first hand.

I'm not talking about the occupation, of course the Germans occupied. I'm talking about the holocaust in particular. A grave is just a representation like any other.

I work for the mill that turned out Nazi steel to make their munitions and tanks. I've been to Austria, I've talked to french who lived through and whose neighbors, friends, relatives were taken in the night. I spoken to Germans, Poles, Czechs, Russian, Jews, and Aryans.

The issue still stands, are the numbers inflated?

My grandparents told me about there invovlement inthe holocaust. Its real. I nearly broke down in tears watching my grandparents tell the story while sobbing.

I have family that survived the camps, they were very small children, but can still tell you every detail, all the way down to the way the sky looked, the feel of the ground under their feet and the hunger pains they felt. Truly heartbreaking.

I feel for the Jews. They remind me of my days of dodgin AK47s and traversing minefields.
