Thanks Kirk! I got my paper up on the fridge . I had no idea if I did good, bad, or what for never trying it before but hit the paper each time so that's gotta count for something.
I was trying to explain to my dad what I shot and I think I had the whole list: .22, .357 mag, .38 special, 9mm, .40, and .45? Is that right?
Thanks the rest of you guys for letting me shoot your expensive toys. All very nice pieces of equipment! I found the forms last night for my FOID card so will just need to find a picture that will work so I can get it submitted. I have no idea where I want to start, but I had a great time and want to do it again soon! This message was edited 1 time. Last update was at 04/13/2009 09:30:39 AM |

You did very well had solid groupings which means all you shots are hitting in the same area. You can never go wrong with a .22 especially when you are buying rounds. Twenty bucks for fifty or twenty bucks for 500. |

The sight on it was really nice, and obviously had me a lot more accurate than when I switch to Andy's and I was a little more scattered. You'll have to send me some details/pictures on that one you were telling me about so I can do a lil research

I believe they do everything for $15 (take pics, submit forms/pic, etc). |

Know any places near Mannheim? I work over here and don't ever venture into the city (I assume that's an address in/near the city?)
Andy said Maxon's will take care of it there but didn't really put much thought into just getting it taken care of while I was there. Much easier to hit someplace around here than venture up there just for the form... This message was edited 1 time. Last update was at 04/13/2009 10:19:53 AM |

huh?
Here's the form: http://www.isp.state.il.us/docs/6-181.pdf Get a pic and get'r'done. What i was saying is that you can go to Shore and they'll take care of everything. When i applied i couldn't find a pic booth (i had to go to the HIP). PLus i would think that the whole process would be expedited since it's coming from an actual store. |

Grand and Harlem Illinois Gunworks or there is a place on Ogden and Lagrange I do not have the details or go to Walgreens and just cut down a passport picture. |

Mannheim and Madison. I live in Forest Park at 290 and Harlem so anywhere between there on Madison, North, 290, Roosevelt would be really easy to get to.

As long as the size is right and it is on photo paper you are fine. They will end up using DL picture if you have the new one if not they will use what you send them. |

You do not need a fancy passport picture. You can take it at a photo booth or home camera and then print it out at Walgreens/CVS/Osco and the like. I took my own picture with my digicam and just cut it out to size. 25 cents a pic vs $12 or so. Do it!
I did the same for my Alderman at work. Good enough for an Alderman, good enough for you. |

When I sent in my FOID form my picture was from a digital camera and the paper was just normal printer paper.
The guy who did it for me said as long as the size was good that's all that mattered and I got my FOID card. |

It has to be a separate picture. Don't cut and paste your picture onto the PDF form. They need to glue the picture to the actual FOID card.
