Its pretty easy to change 30-1 hr max, just order barnett clutch kit/oem and gasket.

What the hell did you do last night??

Well, after shooting some fish in a barrel I tore up I55 going from 0 - 150 - 0 - 150 etc. when my clutch let loose. No acceleration, just slippage. Pulled off, turned the adjustment screw all the way and was able to make it home. Poor bike My trusted mechanics at Honda House open in an hour. Gonna give a call over there to see what their lead times are. PMed Bfly and ChicagoPerformance. Hopefully, I'm not down for more than a few days.

Yeah, Bfly PMed me in like 15 minutes of posting up - fricken awesome! Problem is, he's way up north. I can't get the bike that far with the clutch the way it is. Waiting to see what he has to say. ChicagoPerformance is closer and should be ok riding out that way. Waiting to hear back.

The other issue is, I want to verfiy that is my problem before I order any parts. Need to have the bike looked at first.

Totally understand, how you describe it, sounds like a clutch to me. after 50K on a sportbike, its probably about time.

Fix it and put another 50K miles on it.

Cant do that with a ducati

It would be cheaper to ditch the Ducati and just buy another one. You can literally total a Ducati just by dropping it from a stand still. Parts are so expensive and value plumits so fast, a light drop = totaled by insurance.

I had 23K on a stock Ducati clutch.

If the adjustment is all the way out, just put it in 3rd doing 50 or so, and abruptly open the throttle WFO if it slips, time for new frictions. Depending on the bike, dont forget to get the lock nut for the clutch basket too, some of them are one time use only.

WOT scares me I've not even tried WOT on the 2-fiddy yet

I ride 2K a year if that. So that means I don't know anything about clutches? Oops my bad.
