I need help finding an engine for a 2002/03 CBR 954 with less than 10K miles on it. It can be from a wreck, salvage, fallen off the back of a truck, I don't care. Any local places that part out bikes?

ebay has a few for about $1300 to your door. At that price, can't you pay someone to just rebuild your current engine?

I would offer them around 500-600, they may take it. If they have tried to sell those engines for months they may be willing to budge on the price just to get rid of it. As for rebuild, it depends on who you get to do it. CC wanted 2k to rebuild my engine , so it was not cheaper. I have already installed 2 engines for less than 1200 together on my bike, so normally it is cheaper to buy a used engine.
