You couldn't have asked for a better day to ride yesterday. We hit up Frontage Rd off of I-55 then headed up to SOW to meet up with the rest of the crew. After that, we made our way all the way up to Famous Freddies in Butt Fuck Egypt (forgive me, I don't know the town name). I just want to thank all those for showing up.

Special thanks to Mao for letting me test ride the GSX-R 750. Compared to my R1, that thing is light and nimble. The seat height is lower than the R1 and the friction point on the clutch grabs right away as soon as you release it. But definitely not as bad as the Duc...

Another special thanks to Steve (G2G) for letting me test ride the Ducati 749. HOLY SHIT :eek that bike took some getting used to! Steve and I switched bikes at a light and as everyone took off, I stalled the bike about 3 or 4 times. If you think the friction point on a GSXR is low, try the Ducati. This is the first time I've ever ridden a v-twin and I don't know if the vibration is common to all v-twins but the Duc will rattle your skull. At least for me it did. Not to mention the riding position on it, it's a damn torture rack! :jester After about so many miles, I hopped back on the R1 and it was like night and day. A HUGE difference between riding an I-4 and a V-twin. I'm not even going to lie, I was happy to get back on my R1! :lmao: Another thing I want to mention about the Duc...the mirrors are USELESS! In my humble opinion, I think the Duc is best suited for the track and NOT the street. I think most Duc owners would agree.

Pics from yesterday...

After a hilly S curve on the frontage roads, I looked left and spotted a cop and was getting ready to signal the group..... I wasn't paying attention and I was looking left at the cop and started to swirve to the other lane. I turn around and a car is coming directly at me, I quickly moved back to the other lane and the oncoming car was around 2 cm from killing me. I really need to take it easy out thars.. I was doing some really dumb chit on the high way.

Mao and Erz probably saw me lane splitting at like XXX mph, completely dumb, sorry guys.
