Tamatha isn't the only one that has gone back into a broken relationship. I can name at least 3 guys on this board now that have. If you like/love someone you'll do whatever to be with them.

Tamatha, I think you should cut your losses and just forget about all this. Move on, people will find out how Cheyenne is on their own. You are making yourself look silly. Really... I am not trying to shut you down. You've never done anything to me, I am just pointing it out as an outsider.

I don't personally know you well, and you mentioned that you don't want opinions/advice, but you posted this "situation" on a public forum and you opened yourself up for commentary. Here is my humble opinion/advice.

1. Words said in anger are very hard to forget and impossible to take back.
2. Bruises may heal, but a wounded hart will always have the scar.
3. If someone hurts you once, it will more than likely happen again.
4. Arguments had while one or two people are intoxicated are NEVER a good idea to begin with, and should be saved for a sober time.
5. Discussing your arguments/fights with others that can not help, is pointless.
6. You can not sway the way others view someone, only their actions can accomplish that goal.
7. Once a relationship escalades to this level of anger/bitterness, it is best to count your losses, learn from the experience and walk away.
8. An abusive relationship can take it's toll on you emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
9. IF the love is so immense that you can not fathom life without each other, I would suggest counseling for BOTH of you, and taking inventory of the good and the bad.
10. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE... Love YOURSELF. There is good in all of us and I know there is a reason to love you. So, please muster up the dignity every lady should carry within her, and find a way to love yourself that does not in any way depend on how someone else treats you. You are worth more than these posts indicate.

I've been in an abusive relationship before and it is not easy to pick yourself up once you've been knocked down, but God made us all with one purpose in mind, and I sincerely doubt it was for others to hurt us. Only we can stop it, and only we can prove our worth. Cheyenne has been a nice guy to me, and I don't know his side of the story. All I know is that anyone can be pushed too far, and I also know that anger management would be a nice idea for a few others as well, but that's something that only the individual can choose.

Please remember that respect is for he/she who gives it.
