Under $200 round trip to Utah with SW, but almost $600 with United to Montana. Bogus.

It is a total clusterfuck when the abilities of the group are not similar. Nobody has a good time in the end.

Nobody has a good time in the end. it sounds shitty, but you're right. the best trips have been when i was somewhat evenly paired with whoever i was riding with. and also it's good to ride with people of the same mind-set: are you there to completely shred all-day long non-stop? or do you like to chill, taking breaks and hitting the bar every once in a while? always a good idea to find out those details before a trip. Some of the best days I have had were with a few good friends that were slightly better than me and we would board all day long and just taking some Powerbars for lunch to eat on the lift. Tear it up all day and have an epic time. In Utah I had my buddy who is much better than me, my daughter who is decent for an 8 year old, and my wife who is a train wreck. Saw both of them the first run of the day and lunch. That's it.
