My cat spilled cat vagina juice all over my ThinkPad and other than a horrible odor, it still functioned flawlessly.

Most of the PC manufacturers have a model that's water proof. Panasonic makes a tough book that can be dropped, kicked and still be used in the rain.

I love the Thinkpads. I'm not just a shareholder but I'm also a client.

I do love mine. I paid $200 for it used about 2 years ago. The battery life is still decent on it and it has never had any problems whatsoever. The hard drive is almost full now though .

1TB backup = pr0n. And even without the backup HD, I am sure your data is still safe. Odds are your laptop's HD is still in good shape even if you laptop won't power up.
