City tries to save some cash by going with the lowest bidder who used inferior adhesive. My sticker fell off this weekend. Now I have to go and get a replacement.

You should fine the city $80 for supplying you with a defective sticker. You will be lucky if the obese metermaids don't give you a ticket.

I avoid this problem by registering my vehicles elsewhere.

I taped it back on but apparently that will get a ticket as well. I now have to hide my car while I bring in the sticker for a replacement. Or I could roll the dice and park my car on the streets without a city sticker and hope to not get a ticket.

Off the top of my head, Elgin and Bolingbrook do not have city stickers.

Hoffman Estates does not have stickers.

Bolingbrook got rid of stickers the year I moved there.
