I heard it's a huge business in Texas for lock boxes in cars. You can even buy make/model specific boxes that fit the glove box or center console of whatever car you drive. It's great for when that crazy lunatic/gangbanger tries to car jack you or points their gun at your family. You can ask him to wait a moment while you punch in the correct combo to your lock box to access your weapon.

My boss encourages me to carry a gun at the shop. He carries all the time when he's there. I choose not to because I hate having shit in my pockets or hanging off my side.
