My niece says she wants a Nintendo DS for her 8th birthday. What are some good games for an 8 year old girl?

mario kart is great. Probably the best DS game for a kid. My son loves lego star wars, batman, indiana jones as well but those are games for boys.

mario kart is cool......too bad I think thats the only good game for DS

yes on Mariokart, my daugher is 9 and really likes the fashion games.
