Went to the free concert in the park last saturday at Millenium Park and listened to the Grant Park Orchestra. Imagine beautiful weather with the sun setting over the city walls and park greenery. Slight colors of orange and red in the sky, shadows cast on the surroundings as the day comes to a close and this melody starts playing in the air...

i know what you mean chicago is a pretty city in the summer, the music does compliment the end of a hard weeks work, and the enjoyment of the citys splendor.

i love the free concerts that they offer. definitely one of the pluses to living in chicago.
