Clutch out of adjustment, A bad coil that still kinda works, a loose wire on the battery, throttle bodies sticking on the high end. worn plugs, bad wires. Then you have valves out of adjustment, low on compression in one or more cylinders.

Start with the above in that order and you should find out why.

As to the map being out of whack very unlikely as there are no oxygen sensors on your bike.
