the new chain is 1 link too long. the angle grinder will be used to grind down the edge of the pin so it can be pushed out with the rivet tool much more easily. and, the chain press tool (that comes with the rivet tool) is needed to compress the clip-style link enough to slide the clip on...

jeez, hasn't anyone ever done anything to their own bike before other than ride it?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew of any good repair shops for motorcycle radiators in the Glen Ellyn/Wheaton area??

Thanks!

I'll help you fix her up too.
Brian...I have the cash for him if it's as nice as he says it is. I spoke to the owner at length, and he was very upfront. And I know it's old school, but I LOVE F2's and F3's.

I figure If it's decent I'll pick it up, keep it a seaon and then when I get my SV, I'll turn this one into a track bike.

So you're on I'll need someone to help me out. First thing...it needs to be lowered a little.

OMG. that's hilarious... I have an 02SVS, and I was thinking of getting a either another SV or an F3 as a track bike....
Which is why I'm reading this post.
