ChiefBD wrote:What Dan, you want to go down one on a liter bike . I almost killed myself doing a Jason Britton beyond 12 o clock wheelie with -1 +2 on my hybrid 750 . It was almost unridable on the street in traffic, ask Mao. I had to stay in second just to take off . I've ridden a Gsxr with the sprocket change and its a load of fun. I'm going to just do the +1 rear tonight and see how it goes. The RR is quick, believe me, but I've heard it will give some nice corner exit speed.

Anyone have any experience changing the gearing on a liter bike? I'm thinking about going up one tooth in the rear, which is the max Honda recommends for my stock chain. 42 to 43 I've heard this tiny change makes the 1000RR quicker and more responsive.
Thoughts?

You don't need to waste your money on a corbin seat. Just get the beaded seat cover. Its like 40 bucks and distributes the pressure so you aren't sore. A bunch of us that go on long rides use it, including Jammin.

I'm thinking about just getting the internals. Not sure if I want to blow my whole wad on the R&T forks, though they do look purdy.
Are the AK-20's and the Ohlins comparable? I'd like to have Turnone do the work, but they are pretty far from me. More than likely, I'll take off my forks and drop them off at 4&6.
