The Chairman wrote:In Asia it is grown locally. At least in Cambodia it is. My grandfather use to grow fields of it, for medicinal purposes.
Also, the weed he grew is nowhere near as powerful as the shit that is being sold on the streets. THC contents are much higher. Many crops, like non-drugs, are being genetically engineered so they can have favorable properties. When your grandfather was growing weed, I don't think the technology existed.

The Chairman wrote:
What would happen to other commodities like corn, soybeans and wheat? Would there be a food shortage as agriculture is what feeds the world. Don't farmers get loans from the government to buy seeds, fertilizer, farming equipment, etc? If the farmers are growing weed(even if it is legal) I don't think the government will give them loans. Without the money to buy supplies they can't grow the weed. Also, if there is already a big source of weed in Latin America, what would stop big companies (who already make Tobacco) from buying weed from Latin farmers and processing it into smokable weed?

The Chairman wrote:She'll do it during her 2nd term. Realistically that would ruin the legacy of the president to do something like that but I'm sure that is beyond the scope of the show. I don't expect the pardon to be on the show at all.

The Chairman wrote:Even if the daughter gets convicted, Mommy is the president. All she has to do is issue an presidential pardon. Problem solved. If the Mommy does that, she can kiss a 2nd term goodbye. Kiddie will have to wait it out 'till the second term to get sprung from jail.

I was looking at pradas, but their lens' don't provide the uv blockade and polarization I want, rheyy are just art with shit lenses.
Price should not be a factor in protecting your eyesight. Many glasses like Oakley are over priced and do not offer the protection other lesser known brands do, such as revo or sarangeti. [/quote]
I think Oakleys are more functional than something like Pradas. I see people wearing those big ass designer sunglasses with lenses which look like windows. I'm sure they are pretty expensive but I have doubts on the reliability. I'm sure most of the price tag is for the name and not for the materials that go into the sunglasses. I'd rather have something which is used by military/law enforcement/athletes because I know it can take a beating.

burntash wrote:on the issue of $260 sun glasses. "the things you own, end up owning you."
they are no better than the crap you can get at kmart. I don't think that is true. My sunglasses are made out of a titanium alloy and are very sturdy. I can wear them inside my helmet as well. If you get a set of walmart sunglasses they won't hold up as well. I drop my glasses all the time and they are holding up pretty well.

If I can use it without the data I might just get it. that would defeat most of the purposed of the pre wouldn't it? Not for me. During the day I'm usually at my university which has wi-fi pretty much everywhere. Since the Pre has Wi-Fi I can use it (assuming it is compatible with 802.1x w/EAP-TTLS) instead of the data plan. I also don't feel like shelling out the $30 for a data plan but I like having the features of a smart phone.

That's probably ok in Niles. I think BB guns are illegal in Chitcago though. I still like the idea of catching it, pouncing on it, and choking it out. I use a flock of trained house cats to dispatch rabbits. I think water guns are illegal in Chicago.

Yes but your town probably has some law against discharging guns in town so you'd have to spear it or catch it and choke it out or punch it to death. What about a BB gun? Its not a firearm.
