There is some good history with this bike:

I bought it off a guy in Wisconsin who babied the thing and track prepped it. He works with 4&6 and raced with those guys as well as being a pit crew member with them. The bike was well taken care of. I bought it, had to do NOTHING to it, tracked it one day, then bought the 848 the following week. Posted up the 749 and Steve nabbed it up that same day - I think it was up on CLSB for 2 hours? It's a GREAT bike and sounds beautiful. I really miss it, but Steve used it far closer to its' limits than I ever could

The thing was up less then an hour or it would have been in my garage

Too bad I don't have the cash for it now...
