Tire Mounting Prices

Garage Mao has been swapping tires since 2003 and is located in Albany Park, a few blocks East of the Admiral theater on Lawrence and Pulaski. You are not indentured to use Garage Mao in any shape or form. If the location, price and service works for you, then by all means come to us. Else please feel free to use any tire service you please.

1) Tire mounting assumes wheels are off the bike.
2) Mounting is done by appointment only. PM or Email maoisn at gmail dot com to make an appointment.
3) $25 a rim mounted and balanced, you take your old tires with you.
4) There is a charge of $5 disposal fee if you want to leave your old tires here.
5) If you want to bring your entire bike, it's $40 a rim. This includes torquing everything back to factory specs, lubing parts, brake inspection/bleeding, topping off fluids, chain tension adjustments, ...etc.. Needless to say, I prefer you bring wheels off the bike as this is a time consuming process.

NoMar in action.

New rules added 7/2/2008
1) Be on time. If you can't make it call to let me know well in advance.
2) Do not bring dirty rims. Clean them off before you get here.

Violations to any of the above two rules and you will be fined $5 per rim, per violation. Oh yeah! Oh yeah!

Signed, GM Management.

3/12/2012 -- Since I can't get out of doing tires, prices are going up slightly. $25 a rim off the bike, $40 a rim if you bring in the bike. $5 tire disposal fee per tire if you leave old tires with me.
