Southern Track Days presents the Feb Season Opener - Sat. Feb 6th - Sun Feb 7th at JGP


The dates are Saturday Feb 6th - Sunday Feb 7th at Jennings GP

The cost of the event will be $230.00 plus $7.00 paypal fees. One day riders will cost $135.00 plus $5.00 paypal fees. This is the Pre-Registration cost which closes November 9th, after the deadline the regular pricing applies. Weekend cost: $260 + $8.00 paypal Single Days: $145 + $5.00 paypal.

Classroom instruction for those newbees that want it as well as the usual one on one help that comes with our events. Please note that to take best advantage of the classroom it is recommended that you do both days. All event pictures will be make avail to all registered riders via FTP Server as well.

Bridgestone Regional Tire Support as always with smoking deals for our riders and FSB members.

Cycle Gear will be on site for any of your Motorcycle needs.

We will fill the event with FSB members first and then after the payment cut off we will open it up to outsiders. We prefer to have riders take the two day package.



Please also note that any rider who comes to the event and registers the day of or once the event is closed will pay a higher premium of $150 per single day and $270 for the weekend.

Backing a truck and bike in a driveway takes skills. I tried to do this on a trackday once and had a 10 car traffic jam down my block waiting for me to finish. Now, I just give up from the start, I drive past the driveway, detatch the trailer and Hulk push it down the driveway with my hands and body . Also I will be changing the "going list" and including how they are getting down there. As I know a couple of people are needing rides.



A couple of people have asked when and how we are getting down to Jennings. Are we caravaning ect. The way we did it last year worked pretty good. The plan is to leave Thursday night after work. We meet at a cracker barrel in Indiana or something simaliar and eat dinner. After dinner we straight shot it to Florida. Last year we got to the track around noon on Friday unloaded and set up our pits and relaxed with a couple of cold ones and went to dinner and got a good nights sleep. Then saturday and sunday rode the track and then monday morning we will leave for our ride home. Its up to you guys but I kinda like leaving early in the morning Monday after a good night sleep and drive home in the daylight. The route we take is (from chicago) is 90/94 to the skyway to 65 south. 65 south to 24 to 75 south and 75 to Jennings which is the first exit into Florida.

Basically you will be taking 2 days off. Friday and Monday. It is fun to caravan and it helps people out if they run into issues(flat tire on the trailer ect). Yes we did have some people meet up with us later on the ride down and also a group that did not leave Chicago till Friday morning. I know everyones schedules are different. My advice to you is get your bike prepared before the trackday and be loaded up and ready to go the day before. So once you get off work you just hop in ur truck and take off. No loading ur crap up the day of and then realizing you forgot this or that. Be prepared so you are not rushng and forget something. Trust me I have done it as i have made this trip about 25 times. If you have any questions or issues post them up and I will answer them or you can PM me. If you need a ride down post up and see who can lend a hand. I know we have a couple of people needing rides. Its a win win situation if you help someone to get down there as they will split the gas costs geting to and from this trackday.


I will let you know right now you will have a FUN time and will want to do this again. My friends that host this trackday and ride at this trackday are the nicest people you will meet. Southern hospitality is not just a word used loosely. It is a way of life.


There is power in every pit stall. Just to let you guys know the pits stalls fits 2 bikes. The cement is laid out so you can have a ez up covering the stall and have 2 bike under it. The pics below of the pits are some that I took from the times I have gone before. In the pics you can see the power coming from the PVC pipes.

I am looking for a way down to Jennings GP. My 2 buddies Germany and Dennis are taking their trailer but it only fits 2 bikes. I need one spot on a trailer and hopefully a seat in the vehicle too(Trailers are usually not too comfortable). We will obviously be splitting the cost for gas.

1) I'm clean shaven and properly groomed

Case in point, after day one of the trackday weekend at Jennings about 4 years ago I found out a couple of my florida friends pulled a prank on my while we where at dinner. Well I went back to the track in the middle of the night and saw what they did to my bike. Nothing major but non the less they fucked with it. Well I brought both of there bikes onto the track inthe middle of turn one and locked them together with a krptonite lock and chain. Also brought there stands, tire warmers and ez- up out there. Here is the pic

The best part was showing up "late" to the track on Sunday about 5 min before the riders meeting and seeing everyone (about 80 people) laughing there asses off while I pulled in. They could not get there bikes off the track cuz i locked them together. Also when you pull into the track you drive past turn one so EVERYBODY saw the prank that was pulled. This is the type of stuff that goes on while we are at the track. the pic above is me in the middle and my 2 buddys from florida posing for a pic before I unlocked there bikes. Next to the fire extingusher that went off in my truck it was one of the best pranks pulled.
